I earned my bachelor’s degree in Corporate Communications from Duquesne University, followed by a Master’s in School Counseling. As a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), I work as an outpatient therapist at Outreach. My counseling philosophy centers on creating a safe, trusting environment where youth can learn, grow, and heal from their experiences to live fulfilling, healthy lives. I use a strength-based approach grounded in cognitive behavioral therapy and have experience supporting children, adolescents, and families in both school and home settings with developmental, academic, and family challenges.
As a program manager, I’m passionate about connecting with others and exploring ways to help people reach their full potential. My background includes serving as a trip leader specialist, developing and leading outdoor adventures for urban youth, college students, and families. During my time as a school counselor, I created and implemented school-wide programs and curricula to enhance students’ academic achievement and social-emotional wellbeing. I’m a compassionate leader committed to developing and executing effective programming that helps teens and families thrive in their communities.
Outside of work, I enjoy traveling, spending quality time with family and friends, and outdoor activities. I’m often surrounded by dogs, as I’m passionate about dog training and promoting the human-animal bond.
I look forward to working with you as your counselor or connecting with you through our community programs!
