For our history buffs, we were founded as a community bank in 1982, the result of a merger of multiple community banks throughout Western Pennsylvania. Our local roots run deep, and today we have grown to have locations in Central Pennsylvania and Central, Northern and Southern Ohio communities as well, all the while maintaining our hometown headquarters in Indiana, Pennsylvania.
We have 126 community banking offices in 30 counties throughout Pennsylvania and Ohio, as well as business banking centers in Harrisburg and Pittsburgh and Harrisburg, Pennsylvania; and Cleveland, Canton, Cincinnati and Columbus, Ohio. First Commonwealth, through subsidiaries First Commonwealth Bank and First Commonwealth Insurance Agency, provides a full range of commercial and retail banking services, including mortgage, wealth management and insurance solutions, along with equipment financing and SBA and indirect lending.
