Kellie Kaminski-Johnson, M.S., brings nearly two decades of experience driving impact in the nonprofit sector, with a proven track record of turning bold ideas into actionable results. A dynamic strategist and relationship-builder, Kellie leads with a heart for community and a passion for helping good ideas grow into real, lasting change. She is proud to have spent her career working with organizations across Western Pennsylvania to build stronger teams, raise critical funds, and create programs that truly make a difference.
Throughout her career, Kellie has served in key leadership roles across Western Pennsylvania, including Foundation Director at Northland Public Library, Executive Director at Pathways of Southwestern PA, and Director of Administration at Project Destiny. Most recently, she served as the Great Lakes Regional Manager for the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition (NOCC), overseeing survivorship programming and awareness initiatives across a five-state region. She also led the NOCC’s signature Pittsburgh event, Together in Teal, drawing over 1,000 participants and raising over $150,000 annually for ovarian cancer awareness and support.
A self-described “nonprofit nerd,” Kellie is recognized for her ability to develop innovative growth strategies, build strong stakeholder relationships, and execute high-impact events and campaigns. At the core of her non-profit work is love for strategic planning, storytelling, and relationship-building. Whether collaborating with donors, community leaders, or grassroots advocates, Kellie believes in the power of people working together to create something better.
Kellie earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Washington & Jefferson College and her Master of Science in Public Policy and Management from Carnegie Mellon University’s Heinz School (Now Heinz College). But more than anything, she identifies as a wife, mom, and neighbor who calls Pittsburgh’s North Hills home. You’ll often find her lifting weights at the gym, curled up with a book, or watching football with her husband Joe, her two boys, Gavin and Parker, and their goofy dog Loki.
