Dr. Tracy L. Scanlon completed her doctoral work at Pittsburgh’s Duquesne University. She received a B.S.in psychology from Geneva College and a Master’s in Counseling Psychology from Chatham University. She is a licensed professional psychotherapist, a professor, a Certified Thanatologist, as well as a Certified Employee Assistance Professional.
Dr. Scanlon is a critical incident and disruptive event expert; in addition to her work with the Allegheny County Police Special Weapons and Tactics Unit, the Pittsburgh Bureau of Police, she is also a responder for multiple national teams including the Army National Guard.
Currently, Dr. Scanlon is the Clinical Director at Outreach Teen and Family Services in Mt. Lebanon Pennsylvania. She maintains a private practice in the South Hills area.
