QPR training helps prevent suicide by educating people to recognize the early signs of a suicide crisis and to know how and where to find help.
Anyone who regularly works with youth and is positioned to recognize and refer someone at risk of suicide is encouraged to attend this training. Outreach program facilitator Mariah Buzza, LAPC, will train you to become a QPR Gatekeeper, equipping you to identify early warning signs, initiate supportive conversations, and connect with professional resources.
