Colleen O’Shea, MA, CFAS, CAADC

Colleen has worked at Outreach for 17 years. She works primarily with the Kids At Risk Effort (KARE) program, counseling children involved in the juvenile probation system. She is a facilitator for the Choices program, as well as a trained Aggression Replacement Training (ART) facilitator.  Her areas of expertise include issues involving ADD/ADHD, adjustment, alcohol and other drugs, anger, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, relationships, self-esteem, social skills, stress, and suicide.

Colleen has worked in mental health/drug and alcohol treatment for 22 years. She has been a dual therapist for Mercy Behavioral Health working with adults for the past seven years. Colleen received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Pittsburgh, and her Master’s degree in Criminology from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. She is a Certified Forensic Addictions Specialist (CFAS) and received certification for her CAADC (Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor) in August of 2019.
