Melissa Sodano, LSW, has 12+ years’ experience working with children, teens, adults, and families. Her areas of expertise include, but are not limited to: anxiety, emotional regulation, Autism Spectrum Disorder, OCD, adjustment, trauma, and mood disorders. Melissa uses a person-centered, strengths-based approach with techniques and interventions from a variety of treatment modalities to suit the unique needs from which each individual or family can benefit. Melissa has an optimistic and nurturing outlook and encourages others to find balance by being mindful and self-aware. She does this through modeling like behaviors.
Melissa received her Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from East Stroudsburg University in 2003 and her Master’s in Social Work from Kutztown University in 2005. She obtained licensure in 2007. Melissa’s past working experiences includes residential treatment facilities, foster care, in-home and mobile therapy, as well at outpatient services.
