Elizabeth Rychcik, MA

Elizabeth has extensive experience working with adolescents and their families who are struggling with a variety of concerns including anxiety; depression; self-esteem; school difficulties including motivation, procrastination, and time management; interpersonal/relationship concerns; adjustment issues; and career development. Elizabeth utilizes both a client-centered approach and cognitive behavioral techniques to create an environment that is warm and non-judgmental where clients feel comfortable examining their mindsets and how their thoughts impact their feelings.

Elizabeth received her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Miami University and her Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from University of Akron. In addition to her work as a therapist, Elizabeth has also worked as a career counselor at the University of Pittsburgh, and an adjunct professor of Psychology at CCAC and Point Park University.
